Prayers Please...

Hi everyone...I know you know that I am a strong believer in praying...well this is a shout out to all my readers of my blog...and my lurkers...I know I have many! My dear friend Deana is fighting for her life tonight. She has Burkitt's Lymphoma and her body is not responding to the chemo the way we would like it to. So I ask you to pray for her, her family and her friends. Also pray for the doctors who are working with her to find a cure for this horrible horrible lymphoma she has. She has 2 beautiful boys who love her deeply and want their mommy back! We need to pray for her...pray for the strength to get through this fight.

Deana is just an amazing woman. She was there for us during our adoption journey...cheering us on...helping me keep the faith...we live 3000 miles away and have always talked about getting our boys together...If you look at the picture you will see a strong resemblance of Julian and her boys.

Please tonight when you go to bed...ask god to help her, to help her husband and parents keep the faith during this very difficult time...please I ask this of you. Thank you!

Craft Time

We made our first picture the other day...it was much more fun fo rhim then me...he needed a bath afterwords...his one hand was all green and the other was red! But we had fun!

Lots of snow + a good amount of milk + as much sugar as you like + a little bit of vanilla = yummy!! Just make sure you get clean snow.

Finally a post!

So...finally a post! I have been so busy with work...rates are at a 40 year low, so needless to say...that is where my free time has gone...to work!

The Monday before Christmas I fell pretty hard outside down the stairs...thank god Julian was not in my arms! So i tweeked my back and we cancelled christmas eve...it was a very quite but nice night at home!

Christmas morning we woke up and Julian came into bed with us for a bit, snuggled and watched Little Einstein's (his favorite show in the world...he loves music...classical music to be exact!) We then went down stairs to open gifts...he had fun! I think he was a bit overwhelmed with all his gifts...Daddy made an amazing breakfest for us...what a wonderful christmas...a day that Jeff and dreamed about for so long! I think I cried maybe 7 times that day...I lost count! When things don't come easy to you...sometimes it is hard to believe when it does happen, that it is really happening...does that make sence?

Then it was off to Nana and Papa's house. We had so much fun there...visiting, sharing stories from when we were little, and just being around family. Dad is healthy and with us, so that was the best gift of all!

Jeff had off from work for 5 days...it was wonderful having him home. Julian spent Christmas night at Nana and papa's house...a tradition...the next day Jeff and I went to the installation of our good friend who is not a State Supreme Court Judge...it was a once in a lifetime event! Amazing!

Reading is fun!

So today we spent most of the day reading...he loves books...he has about 200 of them! No joke...a ton! So I had to get the camera out to snap some pictures of my beautiful boy! This sweater I bought him last year and he wore it once. I kept it hoping he could wear it this year and it fits...a little short in the arms but you really cant tell!

so we did our photo shoot...I hate to spend the money and get a crapy pictures...so we do them ourselves and they ALWAYS come put better! So here is the one that didn't make it on the card!

Discovering new/old toys...

This ball rolls all over the place, but when it gets on the hardwood floors it makes this terrible sound and freaks Julian out...so here he is playing under the dining room table with it...Mommy had to make sure it stayed on the rug!
This was a birthday gift from his cousins, he is just now learning that he can ride on it...so he began to ride it only it was going backwards...he wanted nothing to do with it if he was going forwards...he is too much! If you look real close you will see a little shiner under his eye! Yes...he was running around the house and whamo! Right into the leg of a table! I am thankful that he didn't get really hurt and also that we did our Christmas picture photo shoot on Saturday...there were no bumps or bruises!

Sleepy Baby...

Don't you just love to watch a baby sleep?! Well I just had to post my little sweet heart sleeping...I will have to get on with his butt in the air, for now....shhhhhhhhhh

My favorite time of year...

I love to decorate for the holidays! And I always over do it! So far the outside is done...I could do more but won't! The living room is done...except the tree needs to be decorated...the stair case is almost done and the mantel is finished! The dining room and family room will not be decorated this year...two little hands would have a field day, so we are just doing table arraignments. We had a great day yesterday...I picked up mom early and went to the chiropractor while they stayed in the car...then we went to the The Christmas Shoppe...very disappointing! Wow!!! I guess I was expecting more...oh well! Then we went to see my dad...Julian had not see him in about 2 weeks...which is the longest time they have been apart! I am ver fortunate to have my family in town. We really are lucky! After that we came home, I kept Julian awake in the car...it was hard to do, but if he gets even 10 mins in the car asleep, he thinks he has napped for 3 hours! So we went down for a nap...yeah well that lasted for a good 48 mins! Are you kidding me!! Poor baby...his teeth are killing him. I must say the first 10 teeth were no problems...these molars and eye teeth are brutal!!! Today we went to church, shopping for a few things, then we came home, and Julian slept for 3 hours...got to love that! We were able to get so much done! Then the rest of the day was family time! I just love watching him explore and find new things! Today he began to play with his dinosour that you put balls into...he loves it! It was alot of fun! Well I am home with him tomorrow, Weds and Friday this week. Tuesday is a long day and Thursday will be longer! But at least I have 3 days home with him. It has been so wonderful being home with him for the past 2 weeks...it is alot of work...but so much fun! I love working part time, and don't think I could ever get useto staying home full time.

Dad is doing much better. Thank for all the phone calls, the prayers and little notes! We really appreciate it all! The prayers have worked! Love God, Love life! Hugs and blessings
